Rabbi Yonah Hain is the Campus Rabbi at Columbia/Barnard Hillel, part of Columbia University’s Office of Religious Life. He previously served on the rabbinic staff at the NYU Bronfman Center.
Rabbi Hain impacts Jewish campus life throughout North America by serving as faculty for the Shalom Hartman Institute, where he develops and teaches the Jewish educational content of immersive study experiences for university students and Hillel professionals. He has taught extensively in Israel and the U.S., and has begun coursework towards a doctorate in Talmud and Rabbinics.
Rabbi Hain is adjunct faculty at YCT Rabbinical School, where he focuses on work surrounding internships, professional rabbinic training and Israel education.
