Rabbi Yotam Halperin
Director of Professional Development Fellowship, Rikmah
Rabbi Yotam Halperin serves as Director of Education at the Tower of David Museum in Jerusalem. He has previously held positions as Senior Advisor to the Minister of Communications and as a policy researcher at the Ministry of Education. He teaches Torah in various study frameworks, including Yad HaRav Nissim in Jerusalem, and is a member of the Tzohar Rabbinical Organization. His research and teaching focus on the relationship between Torah and the state, the sacred and the secular, and contemporary Israeli society. He seeks to walk the bridge between the Beit Midrash and the wider world, serving as a translator between these spheres.
Rabbi Halperin studied at Yeshivat Otniel and holds a master’s degree in Jewish Thought from Ben-Gurion University. He received rabbinic ordination from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. He lives in Jerusalem with his wife and two daughters.
