Rabbi Rafael Jonathan Polisuk

Rabbi Rafael Jonathan Polisuk is a faculty member at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem, where he teaches Talmud, Tanach, and Jewish Thought. A graduate of Yeshivat Merkaz HaRav, he is the co-founder of the Beit Midrash groups initiative of B’nei Akiva Israel, which fosters grassroots Torah leadership among youth across the country. He is deeply engaged in social and spiritual activism and is a committed advocate for LGBTQ inclusion within religious communities from a Torah based perspective. In 2024, he received rabbinic ordination from Rabbi Daniel Landes through the Yashrut Semikha initiative.
