Thank you for your interest in Yeshivat Chovevei Torah. Founded in 1999 by Rabbi Avi Weiss, YCT has emerged as the premier Modern Orthodox rabbinical school, training and placing professional, knowledgeable, open and empathetic rabbinic leaders for the modern world.

Over 200 rabbis ordained at YCT are now serving the Jewish community as rabbis of synagogues and college campuses, hospital chaplains, leaders of non-profit organizations and Jewish educators in yeshivot and day schools. They are starting new synagogues and invigorating old ones. They are introducing to their schools and classrooms a spirit of intellectual excellence infused with spiritual passion and a love of Torah. They bring with them profound knowledge of the texts of the tradition, full commitment to Halakha and love of, and openness to all Jews.
