Rabbi Justin Pines is the Chief Executive Officer of the Jewish Broadcasting Service (JBS),  where he is the host of Jewish Insights with Justin Pines.

The grandchild of four Holocaust survivors, Justin is a Harvard-lawyer turned Jewish educator. He has served as Directory of Lay Education at the Shalom Hartman Institute, Director of Character Development at Ramaz Middle School, and as a Senior Fellow at the JJ Greenberg Institute for the Advancement of Jewish Life, working closely with Rabbi Irving ‘Yitz’ Greenberg. He received his BA in Communications at the University of Pennsylvania, is an alumnus of the Wexner Graduate Fellowship, and has studied Torah at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies, Machon Shlomo, Yeshivat Har Etzion (Gush), and Orayta. Previously, he practiced corporate law at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind Wharton & Garrison, LLP. He serves on the executive board of the Moriah School and the board of the Penn Hillel.

Along with Rabbi Yitz Greenberg, he created a translation of and commentary on Ohr Yisrael Yisrael and Other Writings by Rabbi Israel Salanter. He lives in Englewood, NJ with his family.
