Rabbi Justin Pines

Justin is the grandchild of four Holocaust survivors, and grew up in Livingston, New Jersey. He graduated summa cum laude in Communications from the University of Pennsylvania, where he served as Student Speaker at his commencement ceremony. He received his JD from Harvard Law School, and spent three years working as a corporate associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in New York. Justin has studied at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies, Machon Shlomo, Yeshivat Har Etzion (Gush), and Orayta. While at YCT, he served as the rabbinic intern at the Bronfman Center at New York University, Kehilat Rayim Ahuvim in Manhattan, and as the Senior Educator at the Brownstone, an entrepreneurial adult Jewish education center in the East Village of Manhattan. He is a Wexner Graduate Fellow, and was an AIPAC Lefell Fellow and an Encounter Davar Acher Fellow. Justin is a trained mussar va’ad facilitator, and is passionate about exploring how to bring a Jewish lens to every aspect of life.
